![]() I see nowadays Facebook is good for finding Refurbed Computers. ![]() Where I live old tech is cheap, so you could easily get a used one for under 100.00 us, and most likely under 50.00, refurbished would be more. Linux will/should work very well right off but there are some little things you will need to learn along the way. Just getting used to Linux way of things will take a while also so best to have both OS's. It takes a bit of experience to Dual Boot with Linux and if you run into problems it is much harder to fix. I basically want a Linux machine now for Internet and e-mail, perhaps some writing. ![]() ![]() If I can pick up a refurbished laptop for a few hundred dollars, I think I'd rather go that way as I want to keep a Windows computer for some of the specialized software I use. ![]()
